“Where Sisterhood Meets Life-Long Readiness”

The Girls’ Room Las Vegas is dedicated to combating teenage pregnancy through a comprehensive sex education curriculum. Over the span of 6 months, participants engage with various community partners, spearhead philanthropy projects, contribute to local schools, and undertake social justice initiatives, fostering a sense of community rootedness. Catering to young women aged 15-19 in East Las Vegas, our program provides a holistic, gender-specific environment centered on sisterhood, female empowerment, and the cultivation of strong, capable women.

Our Primary Objectives:

1) to equip teens, sexually active or not, with the knowledge and skills to navigate potential risks associated with premarital sex, thereby preventing unintended pregnancies.

2) to support young mothers within our community by offering educational resources, tools, and guidance to empower them in making informed decisions regarding their sexual health.

3) to promote overall well-being and empowerment among young women.
